Getting started
Who is Ideal Homeschool for?
Ideal Homeschool is built for homeschool families across the country who want clearer planning, practical support, and a calmer school year. We also work with co-ops, microschools, and organizations through our Partnership Program and Business Support consulting.
How do I get started?
Every family begins with a free Homeschool Success Call. You will answer a short questionnaire about your family, then schedule a 30-minute virtual call with Sarah to review your goals and recommend the right program — Community, Family, or Elite. Schedule your free Success Call.
Can I enroll directly online?
No. Enrollment always follows a Success Call so Sarah can understand your family, answer questions, and confirm the program is the right fit before you commit. This keeps expectations clear on both sides.
What happens on the Homeschool Success Call?
Sarah reviews your questionnaire answers, asks follow-up questions about your children, learning environment, and goals, walks through program options, and helps you decide next steps. There is no pressure to enroll on the call — the goal is clarity.

What is the difference between Community, Family, and Elite?
Community ($49/mo) gives Skool access, Ideal Education courses, and weekly group conversation — great for connection and resources without full planning support. Family ($249/mo + $49/additional child) adds individualized planning, monthly check-ins, portfolio guidance, and year-round support through end-of-year evaluations. Elite ($999/mo) includes everything in Family plus weekly check-ins, premium electives, exclusive retreats, and the highest level of support. Compare all programs.
How much do programs cost?
Community is $49/mo per family. Family is $249/mo for the first child and $49/mo for each additional child. Elite is $999/mo per family. Business Support consulting starts at $1,200/mo. Partnership is free for organizations; member families receive 30 days free Community access, then $24.50/mo if they stay.
Is there a free trial?
Community includes a 30-day free trial for families enrolling directly. Partnership member families also receive 30 days free before choosing whether to continue at the discounted partner rate. Family and Elite do not include a trial period — they begin with the free Success Call instead.
Can I switch programs later?
Yes. Families often start in Community and move to Family when they want deeper planning support, or upgrade to Elite for higher-touch guidance. Talk with Sarah during a check-in or Success Call to discuss the right time to change.

Do you provide the actual curriculum?
Ideal Homeschool helps you choose and plan curriculum — we do not ship a single boxed curriculum to every family. The goal is to match each student with materials that fit their learning style, goals, and your family rhythm rather than forcing one standard path.
Can you help with portfolios, transcripts, and end-of-year evaluations?
Yes. Portfolio planning, progress documentation, transcript guidance, end-of-year assessments, and evaluation preparation are core parts of the Family and Elite programs. Community members receive courses and group support but not individualized portfolio or evaluation planning.
Do you support students with exceptional learning needs?
Yes. Sarah has experience advocating for students through Exceptional Student Education and provides ESE assessment review, individualized planning, and ongoing support in the Family and Elite programs. Elite includes premium exceptional student support.
What is the IDEAL framework?
IDEAL stands for Integration, Differentiation, Essential Life Skills, Authentic Application, and Learning. It is the backbone of every program — art integrated into core subjects, individualized planning, real-world application, life skills, and end-of-year documentation. Learn more about our approach.

Is Ideal Homeschool only for Florida families?
No. Families across the country can enroll in Community, Family, and Elite. Sarah is a Florida Certified Professional Educator and understands Florida homeschool requirements well, but the programs are designed to support homeschool families wherever they are.
Do you accept the Florida Step Up Scholarship?
Ideal Homeschool is currently pending approval to accept the Step Up For Students scholarship in Florida. We are working through the provider approval process and hope to offer this option to eligible families soon. If you are planning around Step Up funding, schedule a free Success Call or email sarah@idealhomeschool.com — we are happy to share updates as our status changes.

Referrals & policies
Referrals & policies
How does the referral program work?
Approved referrers earn a $75 credit when a referred family enrolls in the Family Program and completes their first paid month. Referred families receive $75 off their first month. Apply to the referral program for full details.
What is your refund policy?
Because Ideal Homeschool provides consulting, planning, and digital resources, payments are generally non-refundable once services or program access have been delivered. Community trial periods follow the terms agreed at enrollment. See our full Refund Policy for details.
